In accordance with the UN-Women Executive Board Rules of Procedure (rule 5, paragraph 9) at least two weeks before each session of the Executive Board, the secretariat shall convene an informal open-ended meeting of the Board in order to provide a briefing on the matters to be covered under the items on the provisional agenda.
